We are in New Orleans! After a wonderful week in San Fran (pics will be posted soon), my work travels led Matt and I to the Big Easy! Below are a few pics we've taken.
The view from our room. I have LOVED watching all the
cruise ships come into port.
Incase you didn't know, Pat O'Briens is home
to the famous New Orleans Hurricane drinks.
We ate fried catfish and people watched for
lunch one day.
A partial view of the actual French Market!
It's crawfish season! YAY!
The gas lanterns...oh my goodness....
The french quarters! Just lovely
This is the oldest cathedral in America. It sits right
behind Jackson Square.
My cutie on Facetime!
Chatting away and telling us about her day.
I'm going to do a whole post on just the food we've eaten, but
man oh man, this shrimp po'boy was to die for!
I've been drinking a lot of Abita's, the local beer of NOLA.
The start of our ghost tour!
Our tour guide on the ghost tour.
One of only 3 original French Quarter buildings that is still standing.
Muriel's restaurant sets a table each night for the
ghosts who occupy their building.
You can't go to New Orleans without a cup of Community Coffee,
the beans are grown here!

Oh how fun that Matt got to go with you! Now I am pretty sure I could handle traveling for work if Chris got to come too! Looks like you guys are having an awesome time. Can't wait to read the food post. haha
